Abstract: The increasing incidence of esophageal cancer paired with its high mortality and morbidity has generated extensive academic pursuit. A greater understanding of risk factors, epidemiology, molecular pathways, endoscopic imaging techniques, and treatments have generated significant contributions to a vast fund of multidisciplinary clinical experience and medical literature.
